Subsidiaries

Derrydale Press: Derrydale Press was founded in 1927 by Eugene V. Connett, III and quickly rose to prominence as America's preeminent publisher of books on outdoor sport. An avid sportsman himself, Connett sought out manuscripts by leading sportsmen and sportswomen of his generation for whom he published handsome books that were meticulous in their use of illustrations, paper, and binding. As a result, Derrydale books are among the most elegant American books ever produced and are highly prized by collectors and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Derrydale currently has over 150 titles in print and continues to publish in the areas of fishing, hunting, equestrian sports, sporting art, and the outdoors.

Hamilton Books: Hamilton Books was launched as a new imprint of the Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group in 2003. Potential authors include corporate leaders, politicians, scholars, war veterans, and family historians. Our mission is to provide the opportunity for authors of serious non-fiction titles to obtain a top-quality publisher without the typical hassles and extreme selectivity enforced by other publishers.
